The outline is. You answer a few questions about how you like to travel, and we build the arc of your trip for free: day titles, the sky and season you're traveling in, and the moments to build around. The full plan, hour-by-hour days, where to stay, your before-you-go checklist, refining it, and on-trip mode, is a one-time $20 unlock. No account required to start.
What are curated itineraries, and what do they cost?
Curated itineraries are pre-built, hand-sequenced trips for each destination: the full day-by-day schedule with timing, permits, and where to stay, ordered for how the trip actually flows. The first curated itinerary for every destination is free to view. Any other one is a one-time $20 unlock. There's no subscription.
What does the $20 include?
For your own planned trip, it unlocks the full plan: every hour-by-hour day, where to stay, your before-you-go checklist, the ability to refine it, and on-trip mode once you're there. For a curated itinerary, it unlocks every day, not just the first, plus the ability to refine, save, and return to it anytime. Either way, it's a one-time payment and the plan is yours to keep and fully edit.
What if a curated itinerary is not the right fit?
If a curated itinerary is not what you hoped for, email us within 14 days and we'll refund you in full, no questions asked.
Do I need an account?
You can plan and view a trip without one. Create a free account (sign in with Google) to save your trips across devices, return to them anytime, and refine curated itineraries.
Where does the information come from?
Our guides and itineraries are built on live data from the National Park Service, NOAA, USGS, and iNaturalist, combined with our own on-the-ground destination research. Timing, conditions, and celestial windows are drawn from those sources so the plan reflects the real place at the real moment.
Can I book a group trip?
Not yet. Our small-group Threshold Trips are in development. You can express interest on the Group Trips page and we'll reach out when they open for booking.
How do I share or keep my trip?
Every saved trip has a shareable link. You can also email it to a travel companion, print it, or add it to your calendar, so the people you're traveling with can follow along.
