Peak beauty. Waterfalls, wildflowers, perfect light.
April is the best month for Big Sur beauty. The hills are emerald green, waterfalls at maximum flow, wildflowers spread across the bluffs. Fog is intermittent — burning off by midday and leaving afternoon light that turns everything gold. The coast is busy but not yet peak summer crowds.
